The Founder

Meet Matt

Founder, Spain Sports Co

I've lived in Spain for more than ten years, working in sports media and marketing. For most of that time, I've been showing a steady flow of friends and family what life in this part of Spain is really like. How we spend our time, what sports we play, where we eat, cutting through the mass advertisements, surface level experiences and package holidays. With our local knowledge, they could cut straight to the good stuff.

Somewhere along the way I realised that the time and effort I put into planning trips for family and friends, could be put in for other people too. No tourist traps, no wasted afternoons, no mistranslations, no getting lost, no underwhelming food. Time while you're on holiday is extra precious, and our mission is to make sure you don't waste any of it on stress, planning, confusion, etc.

Let us share how we live with you.

FAQs

Good to know

Do I need to be a good player?

All levels are welcome! We can arrange coaching, and our sessions are arranged to suit a range of levels, from complete beginners to confident players.

Are flights included?

Flights aren't included, so you're free to fly from wherever suits you best. Once you land, we'll take care of everything else - airport transfers, accommodation, padel and every detail in between. Remember to check flights to both Barcelona and Girona airports to get the best times and prices available.

Can I travel alone?

Absolutely. While many of our trips are built around groups of friends and family, solo travellers are always welcome. We know plenty of padel players struggle to get enough people together for a trip abroad, so we're building a community of like-minded players who can travel together. Just let us know you're travelling solo, and we'll do our best to match you with the right group.

What's included?

Every experience includes premium padel court time, a hand-picked hotel with spa and pool, daily breakfast, an evening dinner reservation, the guided tapas & wine experience in Barcelona, airport transfers, your welcome pack and our exclusive local guide.

What is not included?

Flights are not included. Lunches and one evening meal are also left open, giving you the freedom to explore at your own pace. We intentionally leave parts of the itinerary flexible so you can experience Spain your way. However, if you'd rather have all meals included, we'd be happy to add that to your experience.

How many people are on each trip?

Our experiences are designed for groups of 2 to 16, so whether it's a couple's escape or a full group of friends, we'll tailor the trip to your numbers.
